Volunteers: How They Helped                                                                            Back to Home Page

TAG Volunteers Helped Develop YOUR Vision of the Future of Three Lakes

Chartered by the Town Board of Three Lakes as a 100% citizen volunteer organization, TAG spent two and a half years working on a broad range of issues designed to protect our existing community assets while taking action to make Three Lakes an even better place to live.

Interested, caring citizens who stepped forward to unselfishly volunteer their time were the backbone of the TAG organization. They devoted many thousands of hours on the sub-committees and as officers, all with no expectation for reward other than to be a part of compiling your vision for the next 20 years in Three Lakes.

Upon adoption of the Comprehensive Plan in December 2009, the work of TAG is now completed. TAG was decommissioned as a Town committee on January 5, 2010. The work of TAG has now been taken over by the Town of Three Lakes Plan Commission, formed in November, 2009.

The Town of Three Lakes is deeply appreciative for and can never thank the TAG volunteers enough for what they have accomplished and done for all the citizens of Three Lakes.
